Winning Montreal Biodme renovation deepens visitor connection to fauna and flora

Four ecosystems of the Americas, nestled in the Montreal velodrome originally built for the 1976 Olympic Games, will host over 4,500 animals from 250 different species and 500 plant species. Design studio KANVA collaborated with NEUF architect(e)s to design the winning competition proposal which will revitalize the existing structure and transform it into an immersive environment that strengthens the relationship between man and nature.
