France moves to reshape infrastructure and promote bicycle transportation

France plans to launch a major endeavor in order to triple the amount of cyclists on its streets within the next five years. The action will include building better bike lanes, providing financial incentives for commuters to switch to bicycle transportation, and cracking down on bike theft. The plan was announced by the French Prime Minister Edouard Philippe at a speech in Nantes, revealing that cycling accounts for only 3% of transportation in the European nation.

Rural-urban migration in China is at an all-time high, with experts estimating an influx of 243 million migrants to Chinese cities by 2025. Trump plans to strip NASAs earth science division, promote mission to Mars

 

On Tuesday, President Donald Trump signed a new plan for NASA’s future into law: the NASA Transition Authorization Act of 2017.
