Midwest greenhouse heated with geothermal energy produces citrus year-round for $1 per day

Those who live in the Midwest understand how difficult it can be to eat local during the wintertime. For Russ Finch and his local community, the task isn’t too difficult as the former mailman designed a geothermal greenhouse in the state of Nebraska that produces lemons, grapefruit-sized oranges, green figs, and grapes — and all for just $1 a day.
