World’s largest vertical garden blooms with 85,000 plants in the heart of Bogota

Vertical gardens are not only eco-friendly, but are also versatile design elements that can adapt to different spaces. The largest one in the world, built in the Santalaia building in Bogota, Colombia, features around 85,000 plants and covers an area of 3,100 square meters (33,368 square feet). Dutch parliament votes to shut down all of the country’s coal plants

The Dutch parliament voted Thursday night to shutter the nation’s coal industry in order to achieve a 55-percent cut in carbon dioxide emissions by 2030.
