The very first electrified road that is capable of charging electric vehicles as they drive across it is now open outside of Stockholm, Sweden. While the road, which links Stockholm Arlanda airport to a nearby logistics site, is only 1.2 miles long, it is a significant step forward in Sweden’s overall energy and climate change strategic plan. Groundbreaking new energy storage device charges up in just 20 seconds

A new aqueous storage device can be fully charged in a mere 20 seconds. Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (KAIST) and Kangwon National University scientists developed the device suited for portable electronics, and KAIST said in a statement it is safe and environmentally friendly.
