Stress levels of fathers may have big effects on childhood development

It seems like a no-brainer that a child’s development depends on the physical and mental health of both parents. But studies usually focus on the disposition of the mother, not the father—an approach that could be flawed, according to a new study from Michigan State University (MSU). The MSU study found that a father’s mental health and stress levels might have a bigger effect on the childhood development than previously thought.
