The Indiana-based company offers Micro Growth Chamber Systems enabling you to grow more lettuce in a room 10 feet by 10 feet than could be grown on an organic farm sprawling half an acre. The systems use less water too — Aggressively Organic says a typical plant in one of their systems only requires watering once every few weeks.

Underwater robots just discovered the world’s biggest dead zone

Underwater robots exploring off the coast of Oman made a devastating discovery this week. In the Gulf of Oman, researchers found the largest dead zone in the world, covering at least the size of Scotland and possibly more. Scientists knew that there was a dead zone in the Gulf of Oman, but until now, they had no idea how bad it was.
