Shipping was the sole industry not part of the 2015 Paris Agreement, according to Bloomberg, but if the industry were a country, it would be sixth on the list of the biggest greenhouse gas emitters. But most of the nations in the world just agreed to a historic, mandatory deal to slash shipping industry emissions.
